- In March 2024, the Silicones R&D Laboratory was closed.
- 2022 In September, the Korea branch is closed.
- 2018 In August, the Silicone R&D Laboratory is established.
- 2020 In March, the Foundry Satellite Office is moved to Kakegawa.
- 2014 Nagoya Satellite Office opened.
- 2013 Bluestar Silicones Japan Representative Office joins.
- 2012 Korea office opened.
- 2011 Office moved to Nagatacho, Tokyo.
- 1985 Elchem Japan K.K. is established.
- 1977 Elkem Tokyo Representative Office operation.
- 1971 Elkem Aluminium Lista begins operations.
- 1928 Elkem delivers its first furnace to Japan, and thereafter sells various metal smelting furnaces until the early 1970s.
